Fishbelly Bridge 720 mm, Single Track

The double-length fishbelly: two 360 mm fish-bellied lattice girder spans in a row, 720 mm of bridge for one line of Märklin C track, carried by two abutments and a centre pier. Each span repeats the 360 mm build - three 120 mm deck plates locked by connector plates, four girder halves butting flush at midspan, lattice parapets on the deck top edges - and the centre pier cradles the deck edges where the spans meet. The C track roadbed drops into the continuous sunken deck channel; two 24188 plus two 24172 straights fill the 720 mm exactly. The abutments carry the deck ends and grip the adjoining roadbed beyond each portal at joint-11 height, so the approach line runs level on our pillar sets. Pick the floor color, the girder and parapet color, and the finish of the abutments and pier - smooth, engraved masonry coursing, or brick, each with straight (flush) or tapered sides. In the box: 6 deck plates, 8 girder halves, 8 parapet lattices, 2 abutments, 1 centre pier and connector plates. No glue anywhere. Track is not included.
