Coupler Height Gauge NEM 362 (set of 2)

A drop-on coupler height gauge for H0 rolling stock on Marklin C-track. Set it on the track: grooves in the underside seat on both railheads, so the rail top is the datum. Roll the wagon toward it and the coupler pocket slides over the cantilevered ledge - the pocket underside should skim the ledge at exactly 8.5 mm, the NEM 362 standard height. Scribe lines at +/-0.5 mm show how far off you are, and the low wall clears buffers at 10 mm above the rail. Mis-set coupler heights are the top cause of unwanted uncoupling on gradients - this makes checking a whole train a two-minute job. Sold as a set of two. Available in four colors.
