Märklin 37490 - GG-1 "Pennsylvania" 4935, Electric Locomotive

$573.85 Ordered for you

Finished in Brunswick Green, original version. The GG-1 was the Pennsylvania Railroad's heavy electric workhorse: a 4-6-6-4 built by General Electric and Westinghouse, and one of the most recognisable American locomotives ever put on rails. This is a Marklin model in metal construction with a centrally mounted coreless motor driving four axles across both bogies, traction tyres, and a chassis that takes curves cleanly on two powered and two trailing bogies. The mfx decoder carries a full sound set - running sound, fan, whistle, the click of switches, brake squeal - with headlights and cab lighting on maintenance-free LEDs, digitally switchable. Length over couplers 28 cm.
