Märklin 37978 - Mikado 2-8-2 Steam Locomotive, New York Central (weathered)

A pre-owned Märklin 37978: the New York Central Mikado 2-8-2 no. 1883, finished from the factory in a weathered livery that saves you the job and looks far more convincing than a clean shell. Digital decoder with sound on board, and prepared for a smoke generator should you want to add one. This is a single second-hand unit rather than a production run - what you see in the photographs is the actual locomotive you will receive, photographed from both sides, underneath, and with everything it comes with. It is in mint condition, complete with its original box and manuals; the outer packaging shows some shelf wear, as you would expect. Tested before sale and running excellently. Once it is sold it is gone.
